Big Win for Stephen Mahannah and the #17 NOS Energy Ford Fusion at Talladega. Race number 10 of the VSU Cup Series happening on Saturday Nights with 41 cars who did qualify and start.Everyone came to race and we had over 100 laps continuous green at one point. Only 7 cautions over 188 laps. Good numbers. Great racing all night with some usuals and some not so usuals up front and fighting things out for the trophy. 2 wide, 3 wide, and sometimes even 4 wide racing throughout the pack. Ben Bando led the most laps of the night with a total of 38 laps led, while our race winner Stephen Mahannah led a total of 20 laps all night including the most important lap of the night...THE LAST LAP!!! Howard Wildrick was leading the race with a lap and a half left when he saw Stephen Mahannah with a push from behind moving up to the top line to setup for the pass. As he and Tony Ball went to move up the track to try and keep the #1 and #2 position things went wrong and Stephen Mahannah made the move to the inside to take the lead and eventually the win. Congratulations to Stephen Mahannah on the win and great race by all nuffers tonight. Very good race and look forward to next week.
